Victory Ring (Battle Road 2003,2004)

About this card

A thick gold band lies on its side, a V cut into it between two engraved characters, the hollow of it flooded with the light it catches. Turn every Prize card face up, return as many as you dislike to the deck, shuffle, and draw blind replacements from the top, which is the whole of what it does. Winners took it home inside a framed certificate printed with the event, the regional tournament, the age division and their own name. The conferences that first handed it out, in the spring of 2003, were played inside supermarkets, Ito-Yokado and Daiei branches among them, on three Sundays in a row.
