Venusaur (Pikachu Records CD 1998)

About this card

Ken Sugimori repainted this one himself, replacing the Mitsuhiro Arita illustration that the same card had carried in the first Japanese expansion. His Venusaur comes head on with its mouth wide open and the flower fully unfolded behind the head, all of it over a dark red field of cosmos foil. Where a set symbol would sit, beside the height and weight line, the card prints the Pikachu Records logo instead.
