Tropical Beach (World Championships 2012)

About this card

Nobody is on a beach. Naoki Saito moves the party onto a wooden stage at sunset, torches burning against brickwork, Pikachu dancing with Pansear, Panpour and Pansage while a Psyduck watches from the very edge of the frame. Players collected a folder at registration holding the same card printed in seven languages, this Japanese one among them. The year before, that folder also carried a card announcing where the next championships would be held; the 2012 version simply left it out.
