Raincoat Pikachu (Y. Fujishima, Pokemon Art Academy Competition 2015)

About this card

Two of the ten winning cards put Pikachu out in the rain, and this is the one with the red buttoned coat, the rain hat and the yellow umbrella. Y. Fujishima built the town behind it out of loose chalky blocks, the buildings barely more than window frames, with lightning coming down over the rooftops. Japan ran its round of the contest first, closing entries before the North American and European rounds had even opened.
