About this card
The face has been blacked out. Ink covers the head of the boy in the photograph and part of the name printed above it, leaving the surname readable beside the line recording his placing at the national final. Growlithe and Pikachu stand either side of him untouched, and along the bottom edge the card names the final and dates it to 26 August 2000. Third place at that final was a single card, where a regional third place was shared by two winners.
