Mewtwo (World Hobby Fair Special Sheet, Pokemon Song Best Collection CD 1997)

About this card

Mewtwo stands braced with a burst of light at its palm and pale smoke rising through a dark red field, in a picture Sugimori reworked from his own Generation I stock art. The first attack deals no damage: on a heads it lifts a basic Energy off one of your opponent's Pokemon and moves it to another of them, so the turn goes on rearranging their board rather than yours. In the manga version of the second film, this card is the property of Lawrence III, the collector who goes after the legendary birds.
