Mew (World Hobby Fair Special Sheet, Pokemon Song Best Collection CD 1997)

About this card

Sugimori drops Mew into black space here, ringed with iridescent bubbles and crossed by streaks of light, nothing like the grassy pond scene he gave the CoroCoro card. The Pokedex line beside the attacks places Mew in South America and says it was supposed to have died out. The card came on a sheet sold at the World Hobby Fair rather than in a booster, which is why collectors file the three cards from that sheet alongside the vending machine series.
