Magikarp (CoroCoro Best Photo Contest 1999)

About this card

Seen nose first, straight down its long axis, a Magikarp is a circle. Yuka Matsubara found that angle, and the fins stick out around an orange disc set against deep blue water scattered with white star flares. Below the picture the card offers Tackle, and then Flail, which pays out in proportion to the damage Magikarp has already taken.
