About this card
At Osaka on 8 July 2000 the senior final ran into sudden death, where the first player to take a prize card wins, and a girl came out of it as champion. The senior first place went to a girl twice across the whole summer circuit, and this is the card she was handed. Which of the two versions a winner received depended on nothing but their sex. The tallies of who got which were rebuilt later from the honorifics printed after each name in Trainers Magazine, kun for a boy and san for a girl.
