About this card

There is no landscape here, only a diagram: Diglett pushes up through a ring of rubble on a flat yellow band, and the pink field above is crossed by pale blue tunnels that turn at right angles, purple dots set along their runs. Miki Tanaka is illustrating the sentence printed at the bottom, which says you can always tell where a Diglett has gone because the soil stays heaped up behind it. It was printed only inside the 1998 edition of a booklet explaining how to play the game.
