Darkrai (Pokemon Wonderland 2007)

About this card

Very little in the frame catches the light: a white plume, one blue eye, a red collar, and behind the outstretched arm a crescent moon in an olive green so dark it barely separates from the sky. Darkrai is active on the nights of the new moon, according to the entry printed underneath, and the painting takes that close to literally. It came free with volume nine of the magazine Pokemon Wonderland, which the bottom border of the card records in so many words.
