Boy TMB No.3 Trainer (World Challenge Summer 2000)

About this card

Someone has gone over the winner's name with a marker, leaving a black bar where the printing was, and stopped there: the line beside it still reads Tohoku conference, third place. That round was played at Sendai on 6 August 2000 and closed the summer circuit, which made it the most crowded of the eight, with players travelling long distances for the last chance of the year. The ink is the owner's, not the printer's, and it covers the one line that made this copy different from every other card of its rank.
