About this card
Gold Star cards are built so that the Pokémon breaks its own frame, and Flareon's front paws step down over the bottom edge of the window while its tail flares up the left side. The shiny palette turns the usual red fur pale gold, set against a sky of blue and white stars. Masakazu Fukuda signed the whole group, so it reads as one body of work rather than five separate commissions. English players met the same picture later in EX Power Keepers, alongside the Vaporeon and the Jolteon.
