About this card
This Rayquaza is black rather than green, and the change of colour came with a change of hand. Noriko Hotta painted the alternate version while Ryo Ueda painted the ordinary one, so identical card text carries two pictures by two artists. Hotta brings the head forward out of the frame with the jaws open and curls the body back over itself, against bands of orange and blue that swirl like high sky. Inferno Spear does 100 and burns one Fire and one Lightning Energy off the card each time it fires.
