About this card
Groudon comes up roaring out of the bottom of the frame with both claws raised, cutting across shafts of yellow and green light while broken rock hangs in the air behind it. Rip Claw is cheap and knocks an Energy off the defending Pokémon on heads, and Massive Rend then pays four Energy for a flat 130. The publisher put this expansion on sale the same day as Tidal Storm and framed the two as land and sea, which is why Groudon fronts this one and Kyogre the other.
