Pikachu

About this card

Backlight blows the background of the Spanish card into a warm haze, so the grass in the front is the only part of the frame that stays sharp. Pikachu sits low in it, one forepaw lifted, clover and blades reaching past its chest. Kagemaru Himeno painted it, and the pale flecks scattered through the air and the leaves are a mark of her watercolour work, which has been on Pokémon cards since the Jungle expansion.
