About this card

Delta Species gave a handful of Pokémon a type they never had, and this Pikachu is the only one in the whole Nintendo promo run, a Metal type set against a dark steel background rather than the usual crackle of electricity. Ryo Ueda drew it new instead of reusing his Pikachu δ from EX Legend Maker, cropping tight on the open mouth and letting the tail cut across the lower corner. Holofoil copies like this one came inside the EX Series Value Pack, while a non holo printing reached Scandinavian readers in 2006 as an insert in the Pokémon Official Magazine Summer Special.
