Scorching Skies (Sub-set)

Series: Sword & Shield

Release date: January 5, 2024

Cards: 66 (24 secret)

Set code: CS3.5C

Klara, Avery and Peony sit side by side at 060, 061 and 062, and Ken Sugimori drew all three plain versions before the secret prints went to Naoki Saito, kirisAki and Hitoshi Ariga. The pack also closed a tier: Character Rare, which puts a trainer into the Pokemon's own illustration, ran through six Chinese products and ended here, with Malamar at 067 and Castform at 068. The secret block doubles two cards back on themselves, since 072 and 073 are both Empoleon V and 076 and 077 are both Galarian Moltres V, each pair split between two illustrators. Galarian Moltres then takes one of the two Character Super Rares, from Jiro Sasumo, and Kricketune V takes the other. Sixty six numbers carry the ordinary run and twenty four the secrets, in what was the third Sword and Shield enhancement pack. Scorching Skies (Sub-set) (CS3.5C) was released on January 5, 2024 in the Sword & Shield series, with 66 cards plus 24 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Galarian Moltres V #77 (Secret Rare), at $57.50 (median of 7 sales over 30 days, October 2, 2026). A sealed booster box sells for $33.02 (median of 3 sales over 90 days, October 3, 2026).
