Victory Cup (Battle Carnival 2013)

About this card

This is where the Victory Cup stops: the spring 2013 Battle Carnival was the last event to give one out, and by December the Japanese podium prize was called a Victory Ring again. Reaching the final bracket had grown harder by then, the Challenge Stage asking four straight wins where three had done at every earlier Battle Carnival. A fourth league joined that spring, open to players under nineteen, which the organisers pinned to a single birth date in May 1993. The tour took in four halls that May, at Fukuoka, Nagoya, Chiba and Osaka.
