Pikachu (Easily Understand How to Play Pokemon Cards 1996)

Six weeks after the game went on sale, a booklet explaining how to play it came out with two cards tucked inside, this Pikachu and a Jigglypuff. Keiji Kinebuchi buries the Pikachu in leaves, a wall of green filling the frame edge to edge, so the yellow body and the bolt of the tail are the only things that are not hedge. Its first attack does no damage at all and only softens the next hit by ten.
