Cool Porygon (Nintendo 64 campaign, Pokemon Song Best Collection CD 1997)

About this card

Getting it meant buying a Nintendo 64, between December 1997 and the end of that January, which suits the card: the category line calls Porygon the CG Pokemon and the text beneath says its body is made of program code. Texture Magic does no damage and instead rewrites the matchup, setting the Defending Pokemon's Weakness and Porygon's own Resistance to any colour you name. Hiromichi Sugiyama poses it side on over cosmos foil, and the name across the top describes the pose rather than the species, Cool Porygon.
