The 5 most expensive Pokémon cards of Detective Pikachu (Chase Cards)

Eighteen cards make up this tie-in with the live action film POKÉMON Detective Pikachu, and they look like nothing else the Sun & Moon era printed. The illustrations are photorealistic renders rather than paintings, the work of MPC and Framestore, the visual effects studios that built the Pokémon for the screen, so each card shows the creature as the film shows it, fur and skin included. No other Pokémon expansion has been illustrated this way, before or since. Pikachu wears his deerstalker on the card the set takes its name from, and the whole thing reached shops on March 29, 2019.
